We are pleased to announce that the documentary La Lluita per l’invisible has been awarded the Vi Català prize in the Harvest section of the MOST Festival, a recognition that fills us with joy and gratitude. This award is a tribute to the legacy of Carlos Esteva, a key figure in Catalan viticulture and founder of Can Ràfols dels Caus.

The documentary, which explores his personal and professional trajectory, has been made possible thanks to the dedication and passion of a filming team that has worked to convey the essence and vision of Carlos Esteva, as well as the value and uniqueness from Can Ràfols dels Caus.

The Fight for the Invisible traces the life of Carlos Esteva, from his birth and his family, through the time he lived in Menorca, to his arrival at the Masia de Can Ràfols, and how, with a pioneering vision, he ended up building the current Can Ràfols dels Caus Cellar, integrated into the rock, in an expression of deep respect for the territory and nature.

We want to especially thank the organization and the jury of the MOST Festival for this recognition, and the entire filming team for their exceptional work. His commitment has been fundamental to being able to embody, in a deep and emotional way, who Carlos was, his passion for the land and wine, and his legacy so valuable to the viticulture of our country.

Also a special mention to the friends, family and professional colleagues who appear interviewed in the documentary. Thanks to his generosity and sincerity, we were able to build the thread of the story, offering a testimony that brings the figure of Carlos closer to all those who did not know him personally, but who feel his influence through his work and his legacy.

This distinction is also a tribute to the Can Ràfols dels Caus Cellar project as a whole, which continues to keep Carlos Esteva’s vision alive and promote sustainability and excellence in the world of wine. We are proud to have been able to participate in this project and to have been able to share its story with the world.
